Finance Controller, Supply Chain Finance - Gdansk

We are expanding the scope for our Central Financial Support and is therefore looking for new colleagues to join our department based in Gdansk.

“As Finance Controller in our Central Support Team you will amongst other be responsible for preparation and handover of our monthly financial result, for dedicated operational locations in either production or logistic, to the local Business Partners. Supported by automated solutions you’ll be an support to your local colleagues on data quality, financial investigations, and involved in projects of varying size and complexity in relation to continued improvement of our systems and processes” says Senior Finance Manager, Danny Lange Andersen.

As the department is based in Gdansk, Poland and you will have to expect some travel to your dedicated operational locations in local markets an valid Passport and driver’s license are needed to be able to possess this job.

Your responsibilities

• Ensure Month-End closing for your operational locations according to our standards and policies
• Monthly Variance Analysis Reporting to Business Partners
• Weekly data validation ensuring outliers are investigated
• Follow-up on our CAPEX processes with the local management teams
• Support our automation solutions and drive improvements
• Local and global process standardizations within above

The key to success in this position is your proactive mindset and your ability to build relationships with your stakeholders by using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You are a dynamic person who works independently, takes initiative and sees the potential in the team and the collaboration with colleagues both locally and globally to achieve our common objectives. You have strong analytical skills and are great at crunching financial outliers.

This position requires a solid financial education and strong competencies within the Office package and excellent Excel skills.
