This is a vital role within the Source to Payfunction—a dynamic, newly created team within Takeda Business Solutions. We are processing the invoices to ensure payment on time to our suppliers to enable Takeda to develop and deliver innovative medicines to our patients.

As a Requisition to Invoice Accountant, you will be empowered to process documents and monitor end-to-end invoice flow in order to pay suppliers on time.

Reporting to the Requisition to Invoice Team Leader, you will be an innovative, trusted partner to business, our external suppliers and auditors.

Accelerate value & make an impact by:

• Posting of purchase invoices in accordance with the accounting standards
• Monitoring payment deadlines and controlling the execution of payments
• Replying to internal and external queries within agreed SLAs
• Performing internal controls
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues

Required qualifications:

• Academic background preferably in finance/ accounting / economics
• Knowledge in accounting software and teaching /knowledge sharing skills with Px skills
• Min 1 year as Invoice to Pay Accountant or relevant experience
• Accounting knowledge in AP area
• Knowledge of Accounting Practices and proficiency in Accounting Software – e.g SAP
• Knowledge of Ariba system will be an advantage
• Professional experience in BPO/Shared Services would be an asset
• Additional accounting courses would be an asset
• MS Office knowledge (mainly Excel)
• Fluent English
• Stress resistance, discipline, dedication
• Good communication & interpersonal skills
• Customer orientation

Preferred qualifications:

• Improvement-oriented mindset (focused on such techniques as Lean/Kaizen)
• Interest/experience in external innovations and automation (ERP, WF, Robotics, AI)
• General curious mindset
• Building relationships and trust through challenging the status quo
