Project background

Impactt has been commissioned to undertake an assessment for a company in Poland. The purpose of the assessment is to help the company gain an understanding of the labour rights risks experienced by its contracted workforce and assess the effectiveness of management systems in mitigating these risks.


Impactt is looking for a Ukrainian speaking worker interviewer to support this assessment. The selected Worker Interviewer will be expected to:

  • Attend briefing calls with the Impactt team.
  • Conduct worker interviews of contracted workers in Ukrainian.
  • Attend debrief sessions with the Lead Assessor throughout the assessment.
  • Support with logistical arrangements for the interviews, where required.
  • Report findings from interviews in concise and accurate manner in a pre-designed template.

Worker interviewers will be offered training by Impactt to support them in learning how to effectively lead worker interviews.

Timeline

The assessment will take place in Poland in late May or early June 2024, with exact dates yet to be determined. We expect that worker interviews will take place over the course of 2 or 3 days.

General Experience

  • Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience delivering individual or group interviews (preferably working with vulnerable groups of people)
  • Good understanding of Polish labour law
  • Exposure to international labour law
  • Experience in social compliance auditing or labour rights assessments/investigations.

Specific Experience

  • A good understanding of labour rights risks faced by subcontracted workers in international supply chains.

Language

  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Fluency in Ukrainian

Right to work

  • Must have a legal right to work in Poland.
