Your role

Do you know how to provide support so that things run smoothly? Are you a quick learner and a self-starter? We’re looking for someone like that who can provide business-related services and support as part of our Business Management team for C&ORC Group Functions & Operational Risk (GF & OR) within Compliance & Operational Risk Control (C&ORC):

We’re looking for a Business Manager with can-do attitude to
– Maintaining our organizational structures and keeping other HR related static data up-to-date, such as business titles, OU structure and local supervisors
– Support functional compliance topics such as holiday and block leave utilization, mandatory training, barrier status, and various affirmation requests
– Provide Poland location specific logistical support for the function, incl. e.g. space planning
– Maintain and refresh our Department Recovery Plan
– Support KPI definitions and reporting
– Maintain service artefacts, such as the Regulatory Outsourcing Control Check (ROCC)
– Assist in functional communication topics, such as the creation of our monthly newsletter and maintaining our SharePoint sites
– Provide ad-hoc analysis or support related to business & operating management initiatives

Your team

You’ll be working as part of our Business Management team supporting C&ORC GF & OR, based in Krakow and Zurich. This dynamic and driven team of professionals provides a broad variety of services to ensure the function performs effectively whilst keeping alignment with our strategic priorities and financial targets.

C&ORC is part of the Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG) function. The GCRG function is responsible for compliance and operational risk control, governmental and regulatory affairs as well as investigations and governance matters. C&ORC aims to ensure that all compliance, conduct and operational risks are understood, owned and managed to the firms risk appetite. C&ORC is responsible for providing independent oversight and control over the compliance and operational risks arising from UBS’s business activities at a global, regional, divisional and entity level.

The role is located in Frabryczna Office Park (Krakow).

Your expertise

You have:
– a university degree
– at least 2 years previous administrative experience
– experience with handling management information and metrics (design, collection, analysis)
– advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
– analytical skills with an affinity to financial topics
– very good verbal and written communication and the ability to interact comfortably with individuals at all levels

You are:
– great with numbers
– an excellent communicator, with persuasive presentation skills
– incredibly organized, with an innate sense of how to prioritize (you make lists and get things checked off) and ensure timely delivery on important tasks
– able to handle multiple priorities (combination of new and repetitive) with energy and enthusiasm
– fluent in English, spoken and written
